Changing the colour of the vehicle

Changing Vehicle Colour

Because all of our Vehicle Templates are Vector images this makes a task like Changing the Colour of the vehicle a simple process. We have placed a separate contour behind all of the other Vector lines on each Template view. So nice and simple as you can see with the 3 click process illustrated here.

# First.. Click in an open area which will select the "Background Contour". Make sure that the Template is not grouped together with any other lines or panel sections.

# Now that you have the background contour selected change the colour. Each sign or graphics program have its unique process in executing this.

# Illustrated section "3"... Make sure that the background contour is sent the BACK of the Template image so all of the components such as crease lines headlight and/or tail light, wheel rims and all other components are visible.

If you moved the background contour for any reason and you would like to place the contour back in the correct position. Select an outer contour off the main body of the template. This could be the outer section of a wheel or an outer part of the general shape of the vehicle. Then select the background contour and do a Vertical alignment and a Horizontal alignment.

This will centre the background contour into the correct position. Then follow the steps as described managing section 3.
